This spooky week we’re haunted by CASPER THE FRIENDLY GHOST, specifically the 1995 movie version featuring Christina Ricci, Bill Pullman, and a ghost who is, like, a waaaaay too friendly. I mean he’s a perv, but nobody seems to care because he ends up turning into Devon Sawa. Kat Angus and Jocelyn Geddie from I Hate It But I Love It  suffer this curse with us. It’s October so we’re celebrating Hallowe’en with some scary films! First out of the closet, NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 2: FREDDY’S REVENGE! That’s right, Freddy’s back and he’s fabulous as he tries to get inside a teenage boy! I’m talking demonic possession of course. Slap on some grease paint, we revisit 1990’s IT, the miniseries adaptation of the Stephen King book starring Tim Curry as spine-chilling killer clown Pennywise. Also featuring a bunch of kids like Jonathan Brandis and Seth Green, plus adults like Annette O’Toole and John Ritter, it’s the story about the power of imagination, the effect of childhood trauma, and the general shittiness of adults.
