Rewatchability is a comedic pop-culture nostalgia podcast hosted by J.M. McNab, Rob LaRonde, and Blain Watters. It is produced independently in Toronto, ON. The show began in the summer of 2011. In 2012 it was profiled by The A.V. Club and in 2015 our podcast appeared on CBC Radio’s Podcast Playlist. The aim of the show is to re-watch movies and television shows from when we were younger, and review them in an interesting and hopefully humourous way. Hopefully. Rewatchability contains coarse language and immature subject matter; our main goal is to be funny, so please don’t take anything too seriously… especially you Ghost Dad.

This week we’re joined by Ari Millen from the hit show Orphan Black to discuss MULTIPLICITY, the 1996 clone-comedy directed by Harold Ramis, starring Andie MacDowell, Eugene Levy, John DeLancie and a whole whack of Michael Keatons. Is that what you call a group of Keatons? A whack? This movie blew our minds when we were unfamiliar with the realities and ethics of cloning, but how does it hold up now? Listen below to find out. This week, in anticipation of Tom Cruise’s resurrection of the franchise, we wrap about THE MUMMY, Stephen Sommers 1999 adventure blockbuster about a moldy old Egyptian dude. Starring Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz and a mummy, this movie thrilled primitive audiences in ancient times, but how does it hold up today? Mums the word. We return to TWIN PEAKS to talk about Season 2 and FIRE WALK WITH ME, the less critically acclaimed parts of David Lynch’s surreal murder mystery. Still mostly starring Kyle McLaughlin, Michael Ontkean, Lara Flynn Boyle (though sometimes not), Grace Zabriskie, Ray Wise, Jack Nance, Log Lady, plus Kiefer Sutherland and Chris Isaak, this world horrified and fascinated us when we were younger, but how does it hold up now? This week on Rewatchability we stop by TWIN PEAKS in search of some damn good coffee. That’s right, David Lynch’s sprawling tale of murder and weirdness in a small town starring Kyle McLaughlin, Michael Ontkean, Lara Flynn Boyle, Grace Zabriskie, Ray Wise, Jack Nance, that lady who is always cradling a log, I think her name is Linda or something, Sherlyn Fenn and Sheryl Lee. It’s a cast of thousands! It was a phenomenon when it first aired, but how does it hold up now? Won pu dloh it seod woh tub, deria tsrif ti nehw nonemonehp a saw ti? Tuo dnif ot ni enut.
