The bipartisan group introduced the Internet of Things Cybersecurity Improvement Act of 2017 that would require federal vendors of iOT devices to enable security updates and prevent them from having hardcoded default passwords that are difficult or impossible to change.Facebook's experimental Building 8 lab has been hard at work on a video chat device with a touchscreen, about the size of a laptop screen, that will include a smart camera for tracking moving objects in its view. Back in March, the US Senate voted to overturn Broadband Privacy Rules that had prevented ISPs from selling our browsing information.
