Summary: Most independent minded Americans realize that Washington DC is corrupt, and is run for the administrative convenience of Wall St. banks and multinational corporations. Republicans and Democrats have let us down time and time again. If the United States are to remain free and democratic, we must save our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Don't let the corporate media and the special interests tell you how to think! They demonize any restraint on federal authority (like Constitutionalism, states-rights, fully informed juries, and the OathKeepers) as racist, extremist, or seditious! Why? Because they are authoritarians at heart who want to run your life and take your money on behalf of the wealthiest people on earth. Ron Paul is America's leading voice for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. If you are disgusted by what corporate interests have gotten away with in recent years, you must understand that it wouldn't have been possible without government complicity. A small government cannot pass out favors to cronies, and therefore representatives are less likely to be corrupted. Don't allow the media to convince you that libertarian ideals are quaint, bizarre, or anachronistic. Don't allow the likes of the ADL and Southern Poverty Law Center to get away with saying that you're a racist if you believe you've been taxed enough and you think the borders should be secured. Dr. Paul represents a return to common sense in government, and to the freedom that allowed such great prosperity in our country. So take a listen to Congressman Paul's words as he is interviewed by the media, gives speeches to students and supporters, and debates ideological foes. A large and enthusiastic crowd gathered at the campaign caucus party in Seattle on Saturday to greet Rep. Ron Paul, and celebrate his apparent 2nd place finish in the Washington contest. The Congressman addressed supporters at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center, and reminded them that delegates are being won with or without a first place finish at the straw poll. "We're accumulating delegates but not by being in first place - sometimes we get very close to first and then we wonder what's happening, but we are going to get a significant amount of delegates,” he said. Well, the campaign soldiers on- anyone else getting sick of the media driven machine politics? Coverage of the Ron Paul 2012 campaign continues to diminish, as the stories abound of many voters who are of the impression that the Congressman has dropped out. Politico's Dylan Byers has reported that all of the networks, with the exception of MSNBC, have pulled their full-time campaign embedded reporters. CNN has virtually ended any streaming of Dr. Paul's well-attended campaign events (while covering up to three Newt Swingrich event per day). Yet the Congressman continues to shoot for caucus victories, and continues to travel the country stumping for the cause of liberty and the vision of the founders. The usual suspects continue to pose the Romney-Paul alliance conspiracy theory- as if Rick Sanctimonium represents a more honest conservative option for Republican voters. Ron Paul attracted more than 750 voters to his Seattle Town Hall Meeting, topping off a day of campaigning in eastern and western Washington. Dr. Paul’s Seattle event took place at 7:30 p.m. PST at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center. Hoping for a big win in the weekend's Washington caucus, Dr. Ron Paul spent some extra time campaigning hard in the state- returning for a town hall forum in Spokane. According to The Seattle Times, around 1000 people came to the Spokane Convention Center in Spokane, WA to hear the Congressman talk about cutting foreign involvements and lowering or repealing taxes. Rep. Paul, wearing a plaid shirt and blue jeans, spoke for more than half an hour to an enthusiastic crowd that interrupted him frequently with applause, and then took questions from the audience. Congressman Ron Paul rallied supporters in Ridgefield Friday on the eve of Washington's Republican caucuses. Dr. Paul highlighted his signature issues before a crowd of about 500 people at the Clark County Fairgrounds. Congressman Ron Paul spoke before the House Committee on Financial Services Wednesday, attending a hearing entitled: Monetary Policy and the State of the Economy. The committee, chaired by Rep. Spencer Baucus, addressed the Federal Reserve's dual mandate (very innocuous and non-threatening to the banksters). After making his opening statement, Dr. Paul had a chance to grill Fed chairman Ben Bernanke about the long-term inflation that has destroyed the value of the people's currency. Rep. Ron Paul was back in Washington on Wednesday, ready to take a few days off of the campaign trail. It just so happened that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was testifying in front of the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs. Congressman Paul took the opportunity to ask Sec. Clinton about the overt militarism of the Obama administration and US policy in regard to Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan. Congressman Ron Paul hosted a "Final Push Celebration" at the Waterford Ballroom in Springfield, Virgina as the votes from the Michigan and Arizona primaries were being tabulated on Tuesday night. Virginia is one of the "Super Tuesday" states which will hold primaries on March 6th. Dr. Paul was joined by senior campaign adviser Doug Wead and Senator Rand Paul- both of whom addressed the crowd before the Congressman spoke. The group of young supporters was estimated to be as large as 2500, and they all joined in to sing Happy Birthday to Ron's wife, Carol.
