Ron Paul 2012 Podcast

Summary: Most independent minded Americans realize that Washington DC is corrupt, and is run for the administrative convenience of Wall St. banks and multinational corporations. Republicans and Democrats have let us down time and time again. If the United States are to remain free and democratic, we must save our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Don't let the corporate media and the special interests tell you how to think! They demonize any restraint on federal authority (like Constitutionalism, states-rights, fully informed juries, and the OathKeepers) as racist, extremist, or seditious! Why? Because they are authoritarians at heart who want to run your life and take your money on behalf of the wealthiest people on earth. Ron Paul is America's leading voice for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. If you are disgusted by what corporate interests have gotten away with in recent years, you must understand that it wouldn't have been possible without government complicity. A small government cannot pass out favors to cronies, and therefore representatives are less likely to be corrupted. Don't allow the media to convince you that libertarian ideals are quaint, bizarre, or anachronistic. Don't allow the likes of the ADL and Southern Poverty Law Center to get away with saying that you're a racist if you believe you've been taxed enough and you think the borders should be secured. Dr. Paul represents a return to common sense in government, and to the freedom that allowed such great prosperity in our country. So take a listen to Congressman Paul's words as he is interviewed by the media, gives speeches to students and supporters, and debates ideological foes. If you have had it with the Bush/Obama regime, Ron Paul offers Real Hope For America. Let the rEVOLution continue! (To donate or listen to additional audio, visit http://ronpaul2012.podbean.com/)

Senator Rand Paul asks: Is 1984 Now? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:07:16

Despite the GOP's disappointing showing in last week's elections, Dr. Rand Paul has certainly returned to Washington with a purpose. On Tuesday, the Senator released a video message via his YouTube channel entitled, Is 1984 Now? The Senator considers the deceptive nature of US politics, and a few of the many ways George Orwell's dystopian novel rings true in the context of legislation, and the modern national security state. You should see the video, itself- which contains imagery that brings to mind Orwellian concepts like crimestop, doublethink, and totalitarian government. This video is sure to go viral- could it be the opening salvo in a 2016 campaign? This is not the only news Sen. Paul has made already this week- so stay tuned for more!

Texas Straight Talk: In Praise of Price Gouging (11/12/2012) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:03:58

In his latest Texas Straight Talk telephone update, Congressman Ron Paul speaks out on behalf of free market economics - even during a disaster like Hurricane Sandy, when doing so may be politically incorrect! The government and their lackeys in the press are constantly on the lookout for gasoline "price gouging" when quickly rising prices are certain to occur. But if the supply lines are severed locally or regionally, that same gasoline in the tanks at the local gas station just became several times more valuable as a commodity. As so often is the case, the government takes on an impossible task which leads to serious unintended consequences.

 Ron Paul Weekly Update - November 3rd to November 9th | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 03:32:08

Four more years....hooray. Despite how unpopular Barack Obama's leftist agenda has been to half of the country, the other half of the American electorate apparently thinks its just dandy. While we'll all speculate whether Ron Paul could have tipped the scales for the Republican Party, I can't help but wonder what that mainstream media would have done to the Congressman- given the way the liberals even tried to brand moderate Mitt as extreme. The pundits are predictably noting the old (and white) demographics of the GOP, and the need to expand the party to the more socially moderate, fiscally conservative forces represented by the r3VOLution. Dr. Paul referenced the many similarities of the two major candidates throughout the general election campaign, but he seemed exasperated in the end that the American people were unwilling or unable to repudiate Obama's four years of statism.
