We kick things off this week discussing the atrocious Black Eyed Peas performance at the Super Bowl. We then segued into a conversation about Noa's new bathroom odor-preventing device. This somehow transitioned to a conversation about the new Emmure video, which itself transitioned to people judging others based on their taste in music. This eventually evolved into a conversation about peeing tactics and golden showers, which is always fun. After the music break, we played Cast Pick Thrash It or Trash It, where each of us played a track for the rest of us and three guest caller judges. We wrapped up the show talking about some video clips of a flamboyant nature show (including a great intro for the lion). The Livecast has returned after taking a week off, and it was jam packed with offensive content. We began the show with Rob, Frank and Noa talking about their experiences on the 70,000 Tons of Metal Cruise. Since Rob and Noa are on the 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise, there is no new Livecast tonight. Instead of getting together another mixtape, we decided to compile a collection of clips from the show we did that was a precursor to the Livecast, our show in college, which we called The Worst Radio Show In The World. Rob and 3D were the hosts, and Sid and Noa would sit in sometimes. What an episode of the Metal Injection Livecast this was! We kicked things off with Rob describing a stoned excursion to buy clothes for the metal cruise, which we then spent a good amount of time talking about. Rob and Noa discussed what they are looking forward to and then predicted what sort of live blogging they would be doing. (Sidenote: We will be liveblogging from the cruise all next week.) After that we spent some time discussing a procedure Noa is considering. We took a music break and returned with a new soundbite that Sid and 3D discovered of Rush Limbaugh and it was immediately inducted into our Soundbite Hall of Fame, by which we mean we played it for 10 minutes straight with other soundbites. It was awesome. We spent some time discussing Nergal's recent recovery and how what a typical day in his life is like nowadays. We then listened to some music from Nergal's current girlfriend, Doda. Up next was a Livecast Metal News Update. Somehow that spawned a conversation about the ethnicity of Alex Skolnick. Following the second music break, we were joined by the one and only Oderus Urungus of GWAR. To say Oderus was incredibly intoxicated would be a huge understatement. It began with twenty minutes of complete randomness that made very little sense. It was weird and hilarious. Once the dust settled, Dave Brockie started telling us some great stories of seeing Courtney Love shoot up in the Eighties, playing the Gathering of the Juggalos, growing up in the DC hardcore scene (including incredible stories of his experiences with the likes of Henry Rollins & Ian MacKaye), the death of the hardcore scene, and so much more. On this very momentous 100th edition of the Metal Inejction Livecast, we were joined by some very special guests. We started the show talking about the recent shooting in Arizona. Sean then told us about his recent experiences doing jury duty. About a half hour into the show, we had our first guest on the show, Greg Puciato of The Dillinger Escape Plan, who answered a wide range of questions about working out tips, Dave Mustaine stories and some very revealing info about his and Dillinger's future plans. We took a music break and were joined by two of the world's greatest men, Greg Weeks and Gunface of The Red Chord who talked even less about metal than Greg Puciato. Gunface had some problems with his phone which were eventually resolved, but they eventually talked about their jingles, Gunface's new career as a voiceover artist, Greg selling his beard and much more. After the call, we heard our first news report from our new correspondant "The Ripper" before ending the show with two classic bits. This edition of the Metal Injection Livecast happened during the great snowpocalypse of 2010. Sid was unable to make the show and 3D made it just a few minutes into the show. We all shared stories about how much we hate the snow. Sid eventually called in, and we also got a great call from Evan in Norway who was hanging out with Thor Shredsteen evidently. Rob then mentioned how he fulfilled his promise to Sean that he would get laid before the end of the year, which the rest of the crew asked him about. We then got a call from a dude in Australia who told us a story about being kicked out of the backstage area of a Megadeth show. After the music break, we played a new Shlomo tribute by Groban, and then get Shlomo's opinion on it. We concluded the show discussing how long we've gone without taking a shower. On this pre-Christmas edition of the Metal Injection Livecast, Sean didn't even say a word! But Rob, 3D, Noa and Sid just couldn't shutup. We began the show listening to a new tune from the "Rent Is Too Damn High" party leader Jimmy McMillian. We then stumbled into a fantastic conversation about masturbation and watching porn at young ages. We each recalled stories about teen self-discovery.
