 Doctor Prepper's CPR | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:13:00

Susan Gregersen, mother, wife, author, blogger, and Montana mountain homesteader has l earned to do what she can do in a low-budget preparedness lifestyle. Susan says that no matter how tight the income or budget may be, there’s always a way to prepare and stock up, though it may not include freeze-dried foods, bulk grains, or even a grain grinder! Susan and her husband, (empty-nesters after raising 9 children), are excellent examples of ex-urban homesteading––living off-grid on a mountain top in Northwestern Montana, just south of the Canadian border. Susan’s list of non-fiction books includes: Poverty Prepping: How to stock up for tomorrow when you can't eat today Preserving Meat, Dairy, and Eggs Food Self-Sufficiency: Reality Check & more... Susan has written several preparedness fiction books, but she feels prepper fiction is a great way for people to learn from theoretical situations, but recognizes most  preppers focus mainly on the non-fiction, how-to books. Some of her Prepper Fiction titles are: A Tale of Two Preppers The Long Ride Home The Rally Point A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Takeover A Funny Thing Happened When We Took Back America & more... Susan is also author of other genre fiction titles and some children’s' books: Gracee and the Butterfly Ball When Isaac Smiles Brandon and the Magic Bug Preparedness Radio Network™

Developing a Survival Attitude is a critical component in the ability to survive.  It’s to remain emotionally centered, instead of engaging in negative emotions. If one’s prone to anger or depression now when things are good, what will happen when things change and conditions aren’t favorable? Self-mastery requires practice in choosing positive emotions and maintaining inner peace regardless of what’s happening. Dr. Fred Bohman loves learning new things every day and believes he can learn something from everyone he comes in contact with. He speaks fluent Spanish and has lived and worked in 27 countries in Europe, Central and South America. He was one of the first Peace Corp Volunteers in Central America during the mid-1960s developing community agricultural and educational programs. Dr. Bohman has over 60 years of experience in sustainable gardening. He studied nutrition in college and worked as a plant pathologist for a large international vegetable seed company. He’s formulated recipes for over 100 chain franchises and nutritional foods for humanitarian organizations. His extensive skills and experience in primitive outdoor living were put to use in developing outdoor survival and rehabilitation programs at Brigham Young University where he taught in the Colleges of Health & Human Performance. Dr. Bohman currently serves as the Research Director for Nano Technology at Colegio de Postgraduados in Mexico.

What’s in your head and heart determines whether you survive. Mental, emotional, and psychological resilience is the ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change.  Resilience and adaptability are key attributes for survival. Being able to readily adjust to different conditions shows in a willingness to try new things, like eating weeds and other strange foods, or not becoming upset when things go wrong. Preparedness Expo was the first of its preparedness expo in the recent Florida area.  The infrastructure for our first expo put in place in less than 6 weeks! Nevertheless, the premier Life Changes. Be Ready!  Expo was deemed a huge success by both attendees and vendors. The mission of Life Changes Expo is to awaken individuals, families and communities to the need for preparedness through education and training while also providing access to premium products that aid in the pursuit of a more self-reliant lifestyle. Approximately three million Americans now identify on some level as preppers. That’s not even 1% of the population!  Even if you considered that there are approximately 120 million households, that’s still not a lot of the populace involved in being prepared for the uncertain future. Headlines touting the financial chaos created by the banking collapse of 2008, ongoing terror attacks, and the increase in natural weather events has had the effect of showing those who are in tune with the need to provide water, food and shelter for themselves and their loved ones. More and more, being prepared is the best insurance against loss of power, water and social and municipal services. Visit Preparedness Radio Network™
