The Video Games Show

Seriously, I can't stop watching that turkey...just moving...bobbing...never mind.  Anyway, Ron, Rich, Kevin, Keith and Josh saddle up for a better late than never episode of Overclocked.  In addition to what the guys have been up to, topics on tap include the World Series, Uwe Boll's retirement, thoughts on the Nintendo Switch, movies we can't believe are being remade, webcams, kitty cats, Josh's chest, and so much more.

A packet house for this episode of VGS where redemption is on the minds of so many felt wronged by the show.  Matt, Jake, Bob, Kurt and Rich take out their frustrations on not just each other, but also hit up emails, the Nintendo Switch, Red Dead Redemption 2, video game voice actors strike, Halloween content, PS VR motion sickness, what drives us retro, and so much more.

Well, it started out like any other show and completely went off the rails, as these things tend to do.  Ron, Kevin, Addy, Keith, Matt (DumpsterMonkey) & Rich go through so much, it is impossible to list.  Some highlights include video game release weirdness, VR, shows/movies we aren't watching, movies that make us cry, what is Keith doing now, Rich watches random things during the podcast, Halloween viewing, and much more.

Rich, Matt and Chuck are back for an all new VGS.  This episode packs quite a bunch into a short amount of time, including emails, news, Would You Rather, all new Marry/Screw/Kill, and much more.  Oh yeah, and we were right.  Woot!  Also, thoughts and wishes to Jake.  Hope you get that nap you need.

Rich, Matt & Jake return to the table ready for another VGS.  In a news heavy episodes, the guys discuss the remaining video game releases for 2016, how a political view could mean trouble for Oculus Rift, some sweet game deals, Super Mario Maker 3DS only running in 2D, the final stop in the Curt Schilling/38 Studios journey, Digital Homicide committing virtual suicide, and much more.  We also have some emails to discuss as well.

So a number of press events happened since the last VGS and the crew discusses all of it.  Rich, Matt, Jake and (occasionally) Chuck dig into the PS4 Pro, the iPhone 7, the Nintendo direct, new special edition Sonic Mania being not so special, a rumor that will make some fans' blood boil, plus much more.

Ron, Kevin, Keith, Rich, and special appearances by Nick Kraftor and Big Josh (and a super brief appearance by Addy, who was having technical issues) rant and rave their way through a new episode of Overclocked.  Topics discussed include the Apple press conference, cell phone technology in general, PS4 Pro, movies, PHX Fan Fest update, bidets, the amish, some 'Would You Rather..." and much more.

The VGS crew is back and ready to entertain.  Please wish Matt Gurley a happy birthday and hope he gets well soon (which explains his quieter self on this week's episode).  Rich, Matt & Jake (with Chuck in the background) discuss No Man's Sky (both the game and exceptions made to refund policies), the latest Humble Bundle, the upcoming Sony new PS4 announcement, Nintendo practices, Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 being the creepiest game ever, plus much more.

Now that MO Game Con has occurred and some days have past, it is time to reflect on all the awesomeness.  Join four of the five members of the con planning crew (Chad Hager, Chuck Shaw, Jake Friedel & Rich Bergin) along with Matt Gurley as the guys discuss everything about the con, from the planning phase, hanging out with Adam Koralik, the con itself, what they saw, what they got, all the con wonder, and how they took a grand total of eight hours off before starting to plan next year's MO Game Con II: The Wrath of Con!
