First game of this sport for the NES was called literally Golf (1984), but the pixelated sir with the moustache at the game box wasn't really Mario. The first golf game starring Mario was actually this NES Open Tournament Golf (1991), but it only used the Mario title in the slightly different Japanese version. With no detailed environments or indications, it was as difficult as addictive for its time, and it also sported some catchy tunes. By the way, who's Luigi's caddie?
To get ready for 3DS entry's imminent launch, we play the very first Mario Golf by Camelot, which is also the first game in the series with 3D environments/polygonal characters and the first to use a trademark swing system which has been polished during the years.
Dóri is first joined by Executive Producer Gordon Van Dyke to discuss the recently released War of the Vikings and then spends the latter half of the stream getting in touch with his Viking heritage on the battlefield slaying Saxons.
We sat down with David Georgeson from Sony Online Entertainment and Stéphane Bura of Storybricks to discuss the ambitious plans surrounding AI in Everquest Next and Landmark.
We met up with Frictional Games' Jens Nilsson at Game Camp Sweden where he serves as a mentor to one of the student teams to talk about that project and the next game from the Amnesia studio - Soma.
The Xbox One-exclusive fighter's Season One was just completed with the launch of the new Arcade Mode, alongside the long awaited return of series protagonist Fulgore. Watch us play through the whole mode with the deadly cyborg, then enjoy the final credits played out to the rhythm of some classic grooves. NOTE: Yeah, we lose on purpose at the end, twice, so you could check out even more Fulgore gameplay (because we're selfless like that)
We played GTA Online with the Gamereactor Crew for a couple of hours on PlayStation 3.
We caught up with executive producer Ryuichiro "Dragon" Baba and producer Michael Murray to learn more about the recently announced 2vs2 arena battler Rise of Incarnates.
We sat down in Berlin with Grid: Autosport's chief games designer, James Nicholls, and found out what's new in the next entry into the Grid series.
Nick gives us an overview of what to expect from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and obsessively plays Trials Fusion in pursuit of the perfect run.
Nick and Lee went in search of a mountain and a dragon in TT Games' Lego The Hobbit. Watch them collect blocks, build things and fight everything that stands in the way of Bilbo and the dwarves.
Lee and Rasmus suffer through Rambo: The Videogame so that you won't have to do it yourself. Watch them persevere through tons of on-rail shooter sequences and quick time events.
Nick and Bengt discuss the major talking points of the week, before we pick up our controller for another round of GR Friday Nights.
