Today on IGN The Fix: Games, images from Battlefield 6, the upcoming FPS from DICE Games, have been leaked ahead of the game's official reveal. Not much is known about the next blockbuster shooter out of EA, but the rockets, helicopters, and setting depicted in the images point to a modern, boots-on-the-ground approach. It seems that the Reapers aren't the only massive things you can expect out of Bioware's Mass Effect Legendary Edition. After appearing on the PlayStation servers, it seems that this patch is larger than the original games themselves. And finally, Microsoft has added FPS boost to 74 more games on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. The myriad titles include 13 EA games, as well as several Bethesda titles.

And finally, Lady Dimitrescu and her haunting brood of vampires try to entice new visitors to Resident Evil 8's village with a children's show. In their latest advertising stunt, Capcom has created a mock children's show, inviting new visitors to their doom.

Sony fans with an active subscription will be able to grab Battlefield V, Wreckfest: Drive Hard, Die Last, and Stranded Deep for free in May. After a leak last month, Disney has confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will receive a next-gen upgrade for PS5 and Xbox Series X and S. This free update will hit consoles this summer, and bring with it some graphical and technical improvements. And lastly, Halo Infinite will support cross-play and Cross-progression between Xbox and PC. Developer 343 Industries also claims that the game is being optimized for multiple platforms to deliver a better experience across the board.

DICE has revealed some news about their upcoming shooter, Battlefield 6. According to a recent blog post, the team behind the next Battlefield is the largest in series history, there will also be a proper reveal “soon”. And finally, EA has announced an upcoming standalone Battlefield title for mobile devices.

On today's episode of IGN The Fix: Games, Knights of the Old Republic fans rejoice! Aspyr Media is reportedly helming a remake of Bioware's KOTOR. Rumors of a studio outside of EA and Bioware handling the supposed remake began circulating last year, and Aspyr fits that bill. Cyberpunk 2077 modders are restoring features cut from the full release. In a recent mod release, modder Saturne restored the ability to wall run in the game, a combat feature cut by Cd Projekt Red just before launch. If you're a big fan of Legos or just of R2-D2, you're in for a treat. Just in time for Star Wars Day, Lego is releasing their largest R2 set yet, and we promise it doesn't have a bad motivator.

Capcom has another surprise feature coming to Resident Evil 8 however, cooking. And finally, Outriders has received another integral patch that will keep players from losing their entire inventory. People Can Fly, the studio behind the looter-shooter also hopes to restore items some players have already lost, but at a later date.

On today's IGN The Fix: Games, CD Project Red has pushed a hotfix to address issues with the latest 1.2 update to Cyberpunk 2077. The highly anticipated mega-patch came with a few bugs of its own, some impeding story and quest progress, and others just being downright weird. The Playstation 5 firmware update we covered yesterday came with a few surprises, including 120hz support and even more DualSense options. Sony fans will also be happy to find improved HDR settings and functionality, allowing the PS5 to automatically switch video output to non-HDR when the console is displaying standard definition video or games. And finally, a menacing clip was posted to the official Call of Duty Warzone Twitter page, hinting towards a nuclear event that may change Verdansk drastically.
