"How much is it?" you ask in Japanese. "It is 137 yen per kilogram," he answers. That seems like a good price, but you're not sure. "And what is this?" you ask in Japanese, pointing to some meat. "That's Kobe beef," he says. "How much is it?" you inquire. "14,960 yen per kilogram," he replies in Japanese. Ouch!
