Our happiness in life is not determined by our circumstances, but by our reaction to circumstances. There's a great deception in our society that says you are not responsible for your mental and emotional health. If you're depressed, discouraged, despondent, it's not your fault. James MacDonald continues his teaching from the life of Jonah and shows us the hard truth from the Word of God: we are responsible. And if we're down, it's because we choose to be. If we're going to find the joy and the victory that God wants to bring into our lives, we have to deal with that deception before we can move on.
