2 Guys and a Mic

It's that time of year again, so the guys welcome Gary Anthony Williams and Jeannie Roshar-r-r-r (rolling the r) into the Leopard Den to discuss the 3rd Annual LA Comedy Shorts Film Festival.  But that doesn't stop Rich and Ken from occasionally derailing the conversation and luring their guests into some good old-fashioned gutter talk.  Baran, a 2GnaM fan in Turkey, would have it no other way.  Tune in to see who goes over the line this time. After the guys recap Rich's brain MRI, they bounce right back to their usual blue material. Rich explains the correct meaning of "fudge-popping" and to Ken's surprise, it isn't anal sex. They bash Tinsel Korey from The Twilight Saga (not Korey Tinsel, Ken) for her insensitive tsunami tweets and Britney Spears for her recent visit to Rich's local little league field. Finally, with "Steak and Blow Job Day" officially in the books, the guys spitball some other male-friendly holiday ideas that will leave the ladies cringing. Get Hallmark on the phone now!

After some shits and giggles with a few brown note what-iffers, the show eventually veers out of Ken's comfort zone when the subject of Rich's unabashed sex life comes up. Rich claims he's a regular shapeshifter in the bedroom and transforms into a wild animal during climax. And if that's not enough to make Ken squirm, Rich's wife even makes a rare on-mic appearance to verify EVERYTHING. Brace yourself for another adult-themed 2GnaM.

SPOILER ALERT:  These shows just keep getting raunchier.  If you're not completely offended by the first segment selection of semen sacks, menstrual stains and booby groping, then you will be delighted to find the refreshing second segment, where the guys break down the comedic stylings of Jack, Rich's 12-year-old nephew.  After that, it's the wacky tale of Rich's Seattle sugar crash.  All this deliciousness served up with a musical tribute to the film "Vision Quest."  Yes, someone who thinks he's Matthew Modine approves of this message.

After Ken reveals his most disturbing and uncomfortable moment as a father, the guys get down to business with their special guests Jason Libs ( jasonlibs.com) and the one and only Cheyenne. Chey shares his newfound love of poetry and enlists Jason to turn his bizarre lyrics into nuggets of musical platinum. Then, Jason creates 2GnaM's best in-studio moment ever by taking the show's biggest recurring joke and spinning it into his own novelty hit. After the guys take a few minutes to get back into the swing of things, Jess and Mar stop by the studio to girly things up a bit and share their sometimes-twisted view of life with the masses.  They gladly let Rich and Ken examine their tweets and in return, Rich and Ken turn over the big boy microphones so Jess and Mar can give the world a two-minute taste of what their very own podcast would sound like.  Since one them is Ken's sister-in-law and lives in his house, we'll let you be the judge. 

Show #80 is here! 2GnaM is officially an octogenarian and what better way to celebrate than to up the ante on their indecency level after hearing about a 6th grader who listens to the show at school on his iPod. Uhhhh..yeah...so...this week (proceeding uncomfortably), the aforementioned 12-year-old will learn all about drinking while on antibiotics, lacing spare rib sauce with ecstasy and how exactly to make a giant rubber band ball out of naked bodies. Don't say we didn't warn you, Mom. Earmuffs!

After Rich laments about his team's second AFC Championship choke-job in a row, the guys get down and dirty with their typical shameless banter and the indecent subject material you've come to expect from 2GnaM.  On this week's menu:  anal fissures, dogs that eat lingerie, mistresses for hire and knife-wielding toddlers.  Yes, in case you didn't know by now, Rich and Ken are somebody's fathers.  In separate heterosexual marriages of course. 

The guys are back and it's a comfort to know that their prolonged holiday hiatus did not mature them in the slightest. That is why this complete dissection of Ricky Gervais' recent mutilation of the Hollywood elite comes with no surprise. The guys find a twisted pleasure in taking Ricky's most inappropriate Golden Globe quips and making them 100 times worse. Needless to say, if Rich and Ken got a hold of the teleprompter, Ricky would've been blacklisted and blackballed forever! And if that stuff doesn't float your boat, there's always the obligatory tale of public defecation. Stay classy.

It's that time of year again and the family and friends of 2GnaM cram into the Leopard Den for another big end-of-the-year holiday show. Featuring Jess and Mar (Twitter @JaMbyJessandMar"), Matt B. of The Movie Matts, Will the astrophysicist and of course, the one and only Cheyenne the Life Sage. Hear what kind of shenanigans ensue once the booze sinks in and what Cheyenne predicts for everybody in the coming year. AND... what they predict for him. We have no idea if there's a show here, but the microphones were in fact turned on for once. Memory still blurry. Happy New Year!!!

Ohhh, let the holiday spirits start flowin'! The guys roll out the beige carpet to the super sexy "cocktailians" known as Alie and Georgia! A&G make the long, dark trek from Coolville, LA into suburban hell (aka the 'deep valley') to teach Rich and Ken a thing or two about mixing adult beverages. In other words, they get the guys Gingerbread Housed! Well, they get Ken Gingerbread Housed. Paul just holds the mic and Rich surrenders his participation in the name of diabetes. These megasweet concoctions would've caused at least 3 or 4 of Rich's toes to fall off. Hence the name of this show. Cheers!

&qu After Ken gushes about his tattoo experience, singer/songwriter Mikey de Lara drops by to riff on his upcoming cd, the LA music scene and Marty McFly (aka Daddy Shakes). Mikey even straps up to play a couple great acoustic tracks - "Oh, Simone" and Rich's request, "Long Road." It isn't often when the guys dedicate a full show to music, but when they do, it's always a great listen. This one is no exception. Every once in awhile, the guys have a show where they turn off the microphones and have no idea what they just jawed about for the last fifty-five minutes. This is one of those shows. The upside is that some of their funniest moments were spawned from such ridiculous streams of consciousness. In this edition of 2GnaM, Rich and Ken may or may not have begun their plans to brighten a homeless person’s holidays. There may also have been some banter about tweets, tats, cobra balls and the all-important golden rule - there should never… EVER…be two dicks in a room. The rest is a blur.

After a 69LIVE recap and some random banter about Ken's moustache and The Hoff, Rich's uber-smart brother-in-law, Will Blackmore, takes the conversation into another dimension. The guys kick back with some beers and discuss Will's adventurous life as an astrophysicist and a true stalker-dodging success story, proving that a few words of wisdom from Cheyenne the Love Sage can go a long way. Oh yeah, and be on the lookout for stuff like camel diarrhea and fortune cookie beards. Don't ask.

Rich and Ken finally get around to recording the long-awaited show #69 and take it to the stage in front of a live audience at Kevin Smith's SModcastle. Recorded on Monday night, November 15th, this uncensored edition of 2GnaM includes special guests Illeana Douglas, Eric Lange and Chelsea Peretti!
