Matt Desind and I are on a roll as we return for a second week in a row! In episode 72, our usual segments return, including Who’s That Pokémon?, What We’ve Been Playing, and more! We also answer some NX-related listener questions for our feature, but don’t worry: we’re still taking questions for our big episode 75 mailbag show, so send yours into us via email at podcast@nintendofever.com. Thanks so much for listening, and please enjoy this week’s show!
Hello to everyone, and welcome to a very overdue episode of the podcast! After trying and retrying to record episode 71, Matt and I finally decided to nix many of our usual segments in favor of focusing on an NX-centric feature, keeping our fingers crossed that our internet connection would hold up! It finally did, but karma struck in other ways. Namely, a lawnmower in the background of my audio. So we’re a little rusty, but we hope you enjoy this week’s show! Thanks so much for being patient! And speaking of being patient, to those of you who have sent in questions for us to discuss on the podcast, don’t worry! You’ve already been entered to win our episode 75 giveaway, which is also when we’ll be doing our mailbag show! Please look forward to that, but for now: see you in a week!
In our continuing effort to make sure every 10th episode of the podcast is special, Matt and I are pleased to announce that the podcast can now be found on the Google Play Music app! Thankfully, we were not short on great discussion topics this week, either; in honor of the upcoming NES: Classic Edition, we reminisce on our fond childhood memories playing the beloved and timeless Nintendo Entertainment System. You’ll notice that episode 75 is not far off, so we would love for you to send us an e-mail with a comment or question for us to discuss in a mailbag feature when that week comes! As always, we receive mail at podcast@nintendofever.com. Have a great week, Nintendo fans!
Get ready for a change of pace as Mike McSurdy and Lukas Termini join forces to bring you a podcast special all about Monster Hunter Generations! As two seasoned hunters, Mike and Lukas provide a comprehensive perspective on the first few hours of Generations and the Monster Hunter series as a whole. Be sure to follow Mike on Twitter, and if you’re so inclined, let us know what you thought of this podcast special in an e-mail to podcast@nintendofever.com. Enjoy the show!
Another week, another podcast! In episode 69, Matt and I are joined by Mike McSurdy to discuss our various thoughts on Pokémon Go and more. Don’t forget to keep playing Splatoon and using #NFGameClub this month! There’s a $10 eShop code on the line, after all. But, as always, thanks for listening!
In addition to talking about our big disappointments with Nintendo, Matt and I are a week late getting episode 68 of the podcast out there for you listeners. Think of it as going back to a time when it was still June and we were playing Super Mario Land 2 for our Game of the Month Club and Splatoon month was still days away! In reality, though, it is July now. Yes, we are playing Splatoon this month, and yes, we do have a $10 eShop code to give away to a lucky listener! All you have to do is talk about Splatoon using #NFGameClub on Twitter to be entered to win. More details can be found here. Good luck to everyone, and enjoy the show!
As expected, there was a lot to talk about this week on the NintendoFever Podcast! In episode 67, Matt Desind and I cover our usual segments and finish the show with a lengthy, enthusiastic discussion on Nintendo’s presence at E3 this year. We want to know what YOU thought about Nintendo’s unusual E3 strategy, though, so let us know in a comment, tweet, or email to podcast@nintendofever.com! Thanks for listening, as always, and enjoy the show!
