JetNation Podcast: Hosts Dennis Agapito and Tyson Rauch had an opportunity to ask Mike Tannenbaum, Jets general manager from 2006-2012, some questions: Given he drafted Mark Sanchez what is his analysis of the Jets current quarterback competition and can Geno Smith be the week one starter? He also provided insight on the members of the Jets current roster who he drafted in 2012 while with the Jets. Tannenbaum also discussed his team building philosophy, trading up for Mark Sanchez and the Darrelle Revis 2010 holdout. If he could change one decision he made as Jets general manager, what would he change? Currently Tannenbaum works as an agent for Priority Sports representing football and basketball coaches at the pro and college level, NFL and NBA front office personnel as well as sports broadcasters, an expanded role for the agency.

Live interviews taken on location at Jets-West from Wide Receiver Stephen Hill, Tight End – Kellen Winslow Jr., Running Back Chris Ivory, Wide Receiver Jordan White and Tight End Konrad Reuland were played. JetNation was live on location at “Jets-West” a voluntary practice held by quarterback Mark Sanchez in California.  In part two of our exclusive interviews Dennis Agapito asked questions of Jets wide receivers Stephen Hill and Jordan White. JetNation had an opportunity to cover the voluntary practices run by quarterback Mark Sanchez known as Jets-West.  Dennis Agapito was live on location and got to ask questions and do interviews.  Sanchez did a question and answers session with the media, along with JetNation.com, and touched upon how he fits the new offense, whether Geno Smith should have attended Jets-West, is he satisfied with the current skill position player’s and if he’ll win the quarterback competition?
