** NOTE: This week is an explicit/not radio friendly episode on the music and commentary ends... ** This is the latest, BRAND NEW episode of the syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast with DJ Fusion & Ausar Ra Black Hawk for the week of April 30, 2016 with some new and classic music from the international Black Diaspora, news and commentary on everything from politics to pop culture. This week's radio show breakdown (by minutes/hours): 0:00:00 - 1:40:44 Extended Intro & Commentary 1:40:44 - 2:26:26 DJ Fusion Mix 2:26:26 - 3:39:05 Ausar Ra Black Hawk Mix Our commentary this week touched base on: * what we've been up to since our last full length show (our recent "Politics with Real Spit" interview series with organizations and 3rd Party Presidential candidates, starting off the 2016 Music Festival Season Press runs, etc.) * The sad, unexpected passing of musicians Phife Dawg (of classic Hip-Hop collective a A Tribe Called Quest) and singer/songwriter/instrumentalist Prince, how they've affected our appreciation of music and us as individuals, their different impacts on Black Music and more * Recent rounds of high-level f**kery with people thinking that Black Americans are their workhorses for votes, causes, etc. and not full human beings with our own minds, things WE have to worry about on a daily basis and whatnot with everyone from the Democratic Party, to singer M.I.A. and more the past few weeks (which lead to a DJ Fusion rant) * the latest updates on the sad, steady spectacle that is the U.S. Presidential Election nomination race as of late * recent news about sexual abuse accusations against Afrika Bambaataa (the founder of the Zulu Nation) & our viewpoints on what we know thus far * mini-movie reviews of "Hardcore Henry" and "Barbershop 3" and other things here and there!
