 iHHF.net - FuseBox Radio Broadcast w/ DJ Fusion & Jon Judah #109 – July 2, 2008 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 11896

This is the FuseBox Radio Broadcast with DJ Fusion & Jon Judah for the week of July 2, 2008 with some new and classic Hip-Hop & Soul music, news and commentary. This week's commentary was on the U.S. Presidential Election, the multiple meanings of the 4th of July/Independence Day to folks in the U.S. and more. We had a FuseBox Radio Broadcast interview this week with our guest, Mr. Shadeed Eleazer, the creator of Indie Planet TV (http://iplanethiphop.ning.com/) and writer of "The New Digital Music Biz" area for WordofSouth.com. The interview covered the state of using technology in the music industry - from the best things about it to the mistakes that constantly get made by folks, amongst other good things. We do not have a new Black Agenda Report (unable to retrieve before show recording) or Direct EFX segment (due to summer break) this week.  iHHF.net - FuseBox Radio Broadcast w/ DJ Fusion & Jon Judah #97 - April 9, 2008 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 12309

This is the FuseBox Radio Broadcast with DJ Fusion & Jon Judah for the week of April 9, 2008 with some new and classic Hip-Hop & Soul music, news and commentary. This week's commentary was on some new updates on the U.S. Presidential Election process and doing an introduction for this week's interview guest, Lisa F. Jackson, the director of the HBO Documentary, "The Greatest Silence: Rape in the Congo" (premieres April 8, 2008 with numerous showings afterward). This documentary focuses on the war zone conflicts of eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), why the war is and has been occuring throughout the years (natural resource control, affects of colonialism carryovers, etc.) and the effects it has on the women sexually abused in that region by soliders (Congolese, UN, etc.), the soliders themselves and others trying to help them as best they can to assist these women in these circumstances. It's an extremely good (yet very sad and harsh) documentary with a bit of hope up in there I think folks should definitely check out. The website for the "The Greatest Silence: Rape in the Congo" is: http://www.thegreatestsilence.org. There is also a new Direct EFX segment on this week's FuseBox Radio Broadcast - we were not able to retrieve a Black Agenda Report segment this week by the time of recording.
