As usual, I'll be intertwining useful tips and techniques used during the trip and showing real-world examples of the results. This link will enable you to list all images from the Hokkaido leg of the trip: http://www.martinbaileyphotography.com/thumbnails.php?album=search&search=Hokkaido_July2006 Here is a link to a Wikipedia page on the Taisetsuzan National Park: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taisetsuzan_National_Park I also found a good English Map of the Central to Eastern part of Hokkaido known as Doutou. You can get right to it here: http://northern-road.jp/navi/eng/map5.htm See this link for a map of the entire island though: http://northern-road.jp/navi/eng/index.htm Please do take 5 minutes to complete the Listener's survey. Macro-photography is such a complex subject that I'm really probably just scratching the surface of it myself in many respects. I feel confident enough at this point in time to talk to you about what I know, and I'll number these first episodes parts I and II. As I gain experience and learn more about this complex subject though I will almost certainly be following it up at some point in the future with part III or more.
