I will update you again as soon as we get a statement from DxO Labs regarding this. Hopefully we will be able to clear up any problems and continue to enjoy their essentially useful and fun software. If the problems cannot be resolved, we will consider whether or not we should decline the software as a prize for our Assignment Grand Prize winner. If that happens we'll continue to accumulate points until I find another sponsor.

The main thing to remember is if you aren't sure about the options, choose the defaults. This will always give the best results, and allows me the creative freedom to crop as necessary leaving a tasteful border.
