Summary: June 2011 marks the 5-year anniversary of the establishment of the Port of San Diego’s environmental fund. Since the fund was established in 2006, the Board of Port Commissioners has approved 62 projects – 42 of which have been completed – and committed $7.3 million to projects aimed at improving the condition of San Diego Bay and surrounding port tidelands.
