Summary: In the 50s and 60s, there was a thriving music business on both coasts. Major and independent record labels were constantly searching for new artists and new songwriters. It was during this, the most exciting time for the music industry that Bobby Hart came to Hollywood with dreams of being in the music business. His dreams, timing and his remarkable talent led to his being nominated for a Grammy, a Golden Globe and an Academy Award. Along with his writing partner, Tommy Boyce, the duo produced over 100 million units sold around the world. The two writers vast list of hits includes songs for The Monkees, Little Anthony, Jay and The Americans, Freddie Cannon, Dean Martin and Paul Revere and The Raiders. They also wrote the "Days Of Our Lives" theme which has been running daily for over forty years.
