He and his partner Vivienne Westwood's shop 'Sex' was a focal point of the punk movement in the 70's and saw the birth of a little band known as the Sex Pistols. Despite his connection with the Sex Pistols being among his most famous references, McLaren's name is also party to working with the likes of Bow Wow Wow and Adam and The Ants, in addition to his own discography of electronic and hip-hop albums throughout the 80s and 90s, most notably his work with The World's Famous Supreme Team.
