Drugs, Disco, the birth of KISS and the label that ruled the 70s! Jay Pharoah and Jeremy Jordan are "Spinning Gold"

Johnny Dare Morning Show show

Summary: From the early/mid 70s through the 80s, there was no independent record label that did as much to turn the music industry on it’s ear more than Casablanca Records. Founded by Neil Bogart and Cecil Holmes, the label launched the careers of KISS, The Village People, Donna Summer, Parliament and so many more…as well as pumping out the soundtrack of the disco era. And now a new movie that tells the story of those heady days, Spinning Gold, is hitting theaters this Friday and we talked to stars Jay Pharoah and Jeremy Jordan this morning about it…which then evolved into talk about the “good old days” of radio!
