Summary: Reaching Iceland, Thor and Umlaut come upon a settlement and receive a heroes’ welcome. Together with Kari’s brothers and Brother Brendan, the Vikings are sent on a quest by the village leader Ingolfur to kill a monster in its mountain lair. Facing their greatest challenge yet, some of the warriors choose to die in battle, while others choose to flee in defeat.
