With a decade of world travel and photography experience, Larryn came to realise that truly remarkable landscapes are more than just photogenic geological structures. Their moods shift with the weather, their faces change in the shadows, and while they dance in daylight, they never lay dormant at night. Larryn fell in love with the way mountains come alive under the Milky Way, the moment the sun and ocean melt together, the haunting comfort of fog banks lighting up as they envelope a city skyline and the way the stars blur as the world twirls beneath them. It’s all lead him to what he describes as his compulsion to capture more of these fleeting moments of time in nature, and in the process, create portraits of New Zealand’s true essence.
