Summary: Against two of their top opponents this season, LSU has had an offensive boom in the second half. Against Florida State, when LSU could hardly get anything moving offensively through three quarters, the Tigers marched 75 yards down the field to score in less than two minutes. Against Mississippi State this past weekend, LSU was scoreless until the end of the second quarter and entered the half down 13-7 against Mike Leach's Bulldogs. Then in the second half, the Tigers scored on four of their seven possessions to come back to win 31-16. In both instances, the offense came alive in the second half. But why is that exactly?
