Summary: Narcissistic Personality Disorder is defined as comprising a pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), a constant need for admiration, and a lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts. This is the definition used by the DSM 5. Individuals commonly mislabel others as narcissists. In this episode I explain the criteria of NPD and how to deal with some that has been diagnosed.
