Summary: On the 7th of July, 2019, I was able to tick off a goal I have been working towards for over 3 years now and that was to run a sub 100 min half marathon on race day. After a devastating failed attempt last year in October at the Melbourne running festival, I was about ready to quit and give up any chance of ever running this time. In this podcast I talk about those dark times and what I went through after that failed attempt, surgery to remove my gallbladder and the "FUNK" I found myself in, in March this year. I do hope that the lessons I learnt over this time and detail in this podcast may help you to stay the course and keep working towards the goals you are looking to achieve. Whether you are looking to lose weight, learn a new skill like the guitar, or run your first marathon, you will always face times when you question yourself and what you do at these times will determine your outcome.
