Summary: This is by far the MOST asked question I get in the DM's of my instagram account and so I thought it is about time I made a podcast that will go into detail about what breaks your fast and what does not break your fast. As the name would suggest, "break-fast" is when you are going from a fasted state to a fed state. While that might seem very straight forward, it can be confusing as to what actually breaks your fast. To get a little nerdy for a second, what breaking your fast technically is, is consuming anything that produces a rise in insulin which will take you from a fasted state into a fed state.
