Summary: <p>Dr. Karen Swallow Prior is a Professor of English at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. She earned her PhD and MA at the State University of New York at Buffalo and her BA at Daemon College. Her area of specialization is 18th century British literature where she focuses on philosophy, ethics, and aesthetics.</p> <p>She is the author of three books:<em> Fierce Convictions: The Extraordinary Life of Hannah More - Poet, Reformer, Abolitionist</em> (Thomas Nelson 2014), <em>Booked: Literature in the Soul of Me</em> (T.S. Poetry Press 2012), and <em>On Reading Well: Finding the Good Life Through Great Books</em> (Brazos Press 2018).
