Summary: This week is the first of several concerning the Canaan and therefore the Canaanites of the Old Testament. Canaan, the region, and its people are perhaps the most mentioned ethnic group, outside of Judaism, in the Old Testament. This episode walks through the interaction of these people with Abraham and his descendants in the Pentateuch. Next week, I will begin the wrap up the Canaanites of the Bible before covering their history as discovered by archaeologists.
