After a year of recovering from life threatening health issues, by the grace of God and some of the best medical care possible, the Reminders are coming back stronger than ever and returning to the road in November for the 2016 Christmas season! It was October of 2015 when they regrettably had to postpone their upcoming dates because of health issues with John and then Kevin. The Good news is they are feeling better than ever and are anxiously awaiting their return. Come out and celebrate the Christmas season with the band at a venue near you. The band has not been idle in their time off, they began recording their 5th album this summer in Woodstock NY and Twelve brand new Reminders songs will be coming out early next year, stay tuned, this Album is a very special effort from the guys and we are sure you will be blessed by their new offering. Thompson With over 30 years experience in composing, and producing John’s music has sold in excess of 10 million units on commercially released albums and CDs. As a composer, his songs have been recorded internationally by a wide variety of artists including Johnny Cash, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Bill Gaither, Michael Card, the London Philharmonic, the Winans Phase II, Jessy Dixon, Earl Scruggs, Tom T. Hall, The Burrito Brothers, Bernadette Peters, Charlie Rich, and many others. John composed the 1983 Grammy winning song “El Shaddai”, which was named one of the “Songs of the Century” by the RIAA, and the Gospel Song of the Decade (80’s) by Billboard Magazine.
