Summary: I am joined tonight by the author of "Tears of Hope," Aimmee Kodachian! She reflects on her story of how a young Middle Eastern girl withstood 12 years of the Lebanese Civil War. Forced out of school in the 4th grade she was persuaded into marriage at the young age of 14. A year later she would become a mother and ultimately single with no education, skills, money, or home. After three close calls with death, she made her way to the United States in 1988 to start a new life for her and her daughter.
