Modcast #128: DJ Kaos

Summary: Kaos is one of our favourite Berliners, a fantastic DJ and accomplished producer who recently applied a classy disco extension to Canyons "When I See You Again". Manuel Gottsching is a true krautrock legend from his work in Ash Ra Tempel, his solo records and of course his seminal "walk into the studio, walk out an hour later with a masterpiece" proto-techno LP, E2-E4. It must be fate then that this Week's Modcast is a live set from Kaos himself, taken live from the Ash Ra Tempel & Manuel Göttsching Concert at Sommergarten 2012 in Berlin earlier in the year. Its an hour and a half of non-stop-time-travelling tunes. Its just like that movie, you know the one, except Eric Bana is replaced by Travolta circa Saturday Night Fever and Rachel McAdams always knew she couldn't hold someone that dancefloor friendly to one time period. No conflict, just jams.
