Summary: This performance took place on August 6, 2005 on the dining floor of the Vinton War Memorial building in Vinton, Virginia. The audience was a group of senior citizens who had attended the Algoma Mission School. They were celebrating the mission's achievements at an annual dinner. Our band consisted of guest James Christian (vocals and guitar), Gene Guilliams (vocals), Rita Parady (vocals and autoharp) and Carol Lewis (vocals and 5-string banjo - Scrugg's style), Dick Parady (5-string banjo - clawhammer style) and Jack Lewis (2-string washtub bass). The entire performance was recorded in stereo using a feed from the band's amplifier. The Podcast is a 24 kbps, 22 kHz, mono mp3 version of the performance.
