This is an interview conducted by WMSC 90.3's Japan Nick on June 16th 2013 with Holy Grail Singer James Paul Luna and Guitarist Eli Santana about various topics including transitioning to become a headliner, fond memories of the 70,000 tons of metal cruise, and what musicians need to prepare for when they performing at festivals including diet concerns and using different instruments, amps, monitors and more. They spoke about about what types of things they need to do to prepare for a club tour throughout Europe. They discussed interest on appearing on Compilation CDS. In depth information concerning the songs Lucifera, Go Down Swinging, and Can't Hide the Wolf were thoroughly explained. Some of the earliest Holy Grail songs like TGPD and For all Eternity were discussed. Luna's appearance on the Children of Bodom album relentless reckless forever was gone over along with guest vocals spots on a number of other albums was discussed. Very introspective information was given for the topic of deciding what the difference between paying your dues and being taken advantage of is. Bruce Corbitt the singer of Warbeast and Rigor Mortis called in to speak with Neil Wonnell of Neil Wonnell's Metalmouth and WMSC 90.3's and The Aquarian Weekly's Japan Nick to talk about the June 14th Mike Scaccia concert. Information such as when the Scaccianators show will be rescheduled due to Rigor Mortis drummer Harden Harrison being injured. Nearly all the Rigor Mortis songs from Slaves to the Grave were spoken about. Many items that will be included in the raffle on June 14th were explained. Bruce gave intelligent advice on how bands should record their debut album and more.

NYC Hard Rock Singer Evan Russell Saffer appeared on WMSC 90.3's Japan Nick's Rock and Metal Pandemonium for a fifth appearance/interview. Evan Russell Saffer spoke about recording his new album the Opponent, moving forward with a new lineup, differences in how the Opponent was recorded vs Neon Gas. Beautiful Stranger an acoustic version was performed. Best in Me song was played and Martin the synthesizer discussed the various effects that went into the song as well as what audio programs were used to create it. Working with his new producer Martin. I couldn’t love you anymore than I do now acoustic song was also performed. Evan also gave advice for musicians going about a DIY approach to touring and other things.

Tom Morrissey is a founding member and lead singer of the New York hard rock band Killcode that was formed in late 2008. They recently appeared alongside former Queensryche singer Geoff Tate at the College Music Journal convention showcase for Skateboard Marketing and appeared in clubs such as Webster Hall, The Bowery Ballroom, Highline Ballroom, Irving Plaza and more. Tom talks about Guns n Roses’s drummer Frank Ferrar filling in for their drummer at a club called the Trash Bar in 2009 and reveals how Killcode made Frank’s acquaintance. The story of Killcode’s first music video- an acoustic version of their song "Breaking Away" which will be included on the DVD release of David Swajeski’s documentary Dressed. In the conversation below we discussed song writing in ways such as seeing a tell tale sign when you have composed a notable lyric or riff and how you are able to distinguish when something has mass appeal for an audience. A few words of appreciation were mentioned for the New York Rock Scene and what some of the difficulties in being a member of it are.

This interview with Warbeast Drummer Joey "Blue' Gonzalez was conducted on December 9th 2012 by Japan Nick of WMSC 90.3's Japan Nick's Rock and Metal Pandemonium. Joey Gonzalez is a Dallas, Texas based drummer who is a full time member for Warbeast as well as Philip Anselmo, and does live work for Hank Williams III and Protest. He has been out to Europe twice, once with Hank Williams III and just recently getting back from the Warbeast/Down Tour with a great many performances in Germany. He joined Texas Metal Alliance which is now known as Warbeast at the age of 17. People he views as teachers/mentors include Philip Anselmo, Marzi Montazeri, Bruce Corbitt, Scott Shelby, and Hank Williams III. This coming year Joey will be appearing on 3 albums including The War of the Gargantuas Split with 2 Philip Anselmo songs paired with the Birth of a Pyscho and IT songs which have been featured in the setlists of a great many live Warbeast concerts, Warbeast’s Destroy album, and Philip Anselmo’s Solo Album Walk Through Exits Only. There has been talk of a music video for Warbeast perhaps being BloodMoon ; an upcoming track from the Destroy Album that’s a pretty have fun with it type track with the whole werewolf scene deal going on. It’s not the most serious stuff in the world, Warbeast tries to pick songs that they can have the most fun in a music video, make people laugh but still get the essence of the song through. Major talking points include Joey Gonzalez's first days in Texas Metal Alliance which is now called Warbeast, the story of Bruce Corbitt bringing Joey into the band as a full member with a story about a trip to the Rockstar Sportsbar. New songs for the upcoming album Destroy were discussed such as Nobody, War of the Worlds, BloodMoon and the Day Of were discussed. The memory of the final show with Down from the European Tour with a special perhaps one time only performance of The Terrible Terribles, a Spanish band comprised of Joey Gonzalez on lead vocals singing in Spanish, Phil Anselmo on drums and a number of techs from the European production of Down comprised the band. The War of the Garguantuas story and how it developed over two years is thoroughly explained. A discussion on the preparations that needed to take place and afterthoughts on the European Tour were spoken about. Song Writing with Philip Anselmo, Scott Shelby, and preparing for live performances with Hank Williams III were gone over in an depth style.
