Roberta’s goal is to assist women on the grand adventure of motherhood by empowering them through movement, education, discussion, and trust. She is a 500 hour registered yoga teacher since 2002 with a registered prenatal yoga teach credential in 2014 and her postnatal yoga teacher training in 2018. In this episode, she talks not only about yoga but about the grace and acceptance women need to have around their amazing bodies as well as the power of positive affirmations. Jenny gets pumping tips, tricks, and advice from Rebecca. Rebecca is a Clinical Social Worker in the Behavioral Health field. She is also a mother of twins and a blogger. Rebecca breastfed her twins for fourteen months and ten of those months were spent pumping at work. She shares her experience and the knowledge she's acquired during her breastfeeding journey. She talks about the importance of knowing your rights as a pumping employee and how to be as efficient as possible in those short windows of pumping time. I have been taking a trip with my best friends, Laura and Denise, for 5 years in a row. Our girls trips are so special to us and one of the ways that we stay connected. We’ve made these trips a priority throughout marriages, babies, and crazy work schedules. This episode was recorded on our last girls trip and we discuss the reasons these trips are so important to us.    Top 5 reasons moms need to take a girls trip: It is important to nurture your friendships. Taking trips is a way to model to our children the importance of friendships. Giving our children and partners an opportunity to bond and run the household while mom is gone!
