 Volume 04 – Episode 11 – Fifty West, Prepping For Punch Out | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:36:19

Partially my fault, for not sitting down at Fifty West in a while, and partially Fifty West's fault for having so much going on with their brewery... there's a lot to talk about when you talk about what's been happening here! We talk the punch out, world beer cup, and even the "road to craft" for Bobby Slattery. It's an action packed episode of Cincy Brewcast, that's for sure! We even managed time to drink a beer while we made our podcast magic. Guests This Episode — Bobby Slattery From The Beer Fridge — Fifty West - Punch You In The EyePA

Volume 04, Episode 10 – Fibonacci Is Growing, Meet Fib Farm! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:03:17

The story of Cincinnati beer is one of growth right now, but what that term means is vastly different for each of our breweries. This episode we'll sit down with Bob and Betty from Fibonacci to talk about their growth, and expansion with the addition of Fib Farm to Fibonacci. What's it all mean? We'll dig in and find out - and also drink a couple beers in the process.

Volume 04, Episode 09 – All The Drinks! On Location at March First. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:06:25

It's been a while since we last sat down with March First (their taproom hadn't even opened, yet). We dove in with them on all the details about the ways having a distillery and brewery together make things easier and harder on the brewing team. We explore what the future holds for this fantastic taproom, including some major expansion plans that are taking shape.

 Volume 04, Episode 08 – What’s Happenin’ Cincy? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:16:08

I was joined this week by Ben Conniff, host of the upcoming Craft Crew podcast to talk about what's happening in local craft beer right now. We drank a few beers, and explored all the releases and events that we could squeeze into an hour.

Volume 4, Episode 7 – A Long Awaited Flight At Alexandria Brewing Company | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:28:57

I feel like we've been waiting for this day for a LONG time, but this episode of Cincy Brewcast not only features our friends from Alexandria Brewing Company, but we are finally doing so while drinking some of ABC's beer. They have opened their doors and it's time to talk about what they're brewing and how their new fans are enjoying the beer, the space, and the possibilities of this new Cincinnati Brewery.

 Volume 4 – Episode 6 – Getting Loud With Fretboard | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:12:52

It's hard to ignore a brewery like Fretboard, and not only are they putting out some amazing beers that cover the full range of what craft beer is - they also have been getting people talking with some big personnel team ups too. We dig in and figure out who they are, where they came from, and what makes a place like Fretboard work so well in the Cincinnati Craft Beer community. These guys mean business, and their business is delicious.

 Volume 4 – Episode 5 – The Solo Studio Ramble | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 28:08

What do you do when you are alone and holed up in the Gnarly Gnome Tavern? You crack open a bottle of Rhinegeist's new Infinite Dawn and start talking into a microphone. There's been a lot going on in local beer lately, and I wanted to try to catch you up on some of that, while letting you know how delicious this new beer from Cincinnati's biggest brewery is!

Volume 04 – Episode 04 – The Untappd Seven Cities Tour At MadTree | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 41:37

I was joined by Christopher Walker from Have a Drink, Mike Stuart from MadTree and Greg Avola from Untappd to explore how the Untappd app has changed the act of drinking beer for so many people in the world. What is it? Where is it going? We have so many questions to throw at Greg and he fields them all. In addition we pestered the Brew Professor himself about MadTree and this mysterious Sensorium Series that they've been hinting at. We get the lowdown on that, plus so much more! Big Thanks to Chris, and everyone from the Have a Drink Show for helping with this episode!

 Volume 04 – Episode 03 – Beer Tourism With Craft Beer Joe | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:32:38

The road to becoming a beer destination is becoming more and more clear with a few recent big news stories that have come out. My recent trip down to North Carolina provides a great backdrop (and some great beer to drink during the discussion) to talk about Beer Tourism with Craft Beer Joe. What does it take to make a city a real destination, and is Cincinnati close to cracking the code?

 Volume 04 – Episode 02 – In Studio With Mrs Gnome | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 47:14

It was a last minute decision for a show this week, but we were hot off of a long weekend out of town, with a sick baby (and a sick gnome) and we had a few beers that we wanted to try. After firing up Instagram Live, we threw this together, and now you get to listen to the result!

 Volume 4 – Episode 01 – Cellar Dweller, Valley Vineyards | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:09:07

It's been a long time coming, and the brewcast finally makes its way out to Morrow to talk to the folks at Cellar Dweller/Valley Vineyards about what they're all about. The brewery/winery is unique for a lot of different reasons, and we'll explore them all - as well as figure out what the future might have in store as they go through a big 'refresh' of their brand, and personality.

 Volume 3 – Episode 32 – Queen City Brewing Company of Cincinnati | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:08:57

I'm not sure if there are many breweries that got as many people worked up here in Cincinnati, before they even opened their doors, but The Queen City Brewery certainly did just that. I was joined this week by head brewer Jason Surniak to talk about what QCBC does to change minds on a daily basis, as well as how things are going to keep growing and changing at the brewery. We tried a few beers to confirm that yes... they're tasty! Learn all about this brewery on Volume 3, Episode 32!

 Volume 3 – Episode 31 – Bockfest, Lagers, and You! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 45:11

If you've never been, you need to clear next years calendar. Bockfest is a really unique celebration, not just in Cincinnati, Ohio but anywhere. We recorded this week's episode live at Bockfest Hall and talked to Steve Hampton about what the festival is. We also talked to Roxanne Westendorf about the Homebrew competition that takes place at each years festival. If that wasn't enough, Greg Hardman joined us to talk about the brewery's new Original Lager and how they straddle the two sides of Moerlein, the past and the present. Its action packed... it's Cincy Brewcast!

 Volume 3 – Episode 30 – 13 Below | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 49:18

As the mighty Ohio River rises around town, Cincy Brewcast finds itself at 13 Below.  We were there to offer up a pint or two to the river gods, to attempt to appease their quickly approaching waters, but more importantly were there to talk about beer.  13 Below has been open for around 6 months, so it’s high time to dig in deep and figure out all about this west side brewery and to see what makes them tick. Of course… the best way to figure a brewery out is to drink a few of their beers, so we made sure to do that too! Guests This Week * Doug Menkedick* Dick Busche* Bob Leubbering From The Beer Fridge * 13 Below -1516 Dunkel* 13 Below – Fluss Bock* 13 Below – Wedding Day Belgian Tripel* 13 Below – Submerged Witbier

Volume 3 – Episode 29 – DogBerry. Cans, Haze, And Staying The Same | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:04:08

DogBerry was just a little nano-brewery when they opened their doors in 2015. Now here we are, they're filling 20 taps from their new, shiny 10bbl brewhouse, they've got cans hitting shelves this week, and yet the managed to take all the best parts of their brewery, and not change them in the process. It's a balancing act, and an amazing topic for a show. I was joined by Tony Meyer, Brent Garland, and David McKinney to talk all things DogBerry! Oh... we drank a few beers too.
