Dustin Boudreaux, a certified golf instructor and graduate of the Golf Academy joins us and talks about how to be more resilient both on the golf course and in life. How to be the golf ball and not the egg on the golf course. We talk about expectations of golf lessons and how to get the most out of golf lessons as well as how he relates being resilient on the golf course to being more resilient in life.
In this EP we get into the second Pillar of Resilience which is optimism! We learn how the subconscious works in finding ways to continuously reinforce the negativity bias that we all have and learn ways to combat that in order to be more optimistic and resilient! Understanding the subconscious is a must in understanding how to reprogram it to think more optimistically and see the positives in life and in this episode we learn just how to do that! We also look at ways to immediately boost our optimism in order to live a more resilient lifestyle!
We begin to discuss the first of the Five Pillars of Resilience which spells the acronym, GO WIN ! the G being the CLEAR Goal. Start to understand what it means to GO WIN! Jump in with me to really understand what it means to set goals and why they are so important! We take a good look at the phrase "the rich get richer while the poor continue to starve" and understand what it means to simply use that phrase as a "cop-out". We look at why goal setting is so important and we start to dive into what this podcast is really shaping into.
