Walt does two episodes in one day for the first time in about three years, and it really takes a chunk out of the day. The good news is that this episode is so much easier than the first one because he knows Louis and Anne-Marie so well. Relief and release!

We haven't done a Q&A session on the show in awhile, but we got some really good questions from the livestream audience today. Neo and Walt did their best to help, and it turned into a really good show! Debbie had a hot project to finish for a customer, so she couldn't join us today. However, she'll be back next week!

Starting Businesses, Daily Practices, and Lessons Learned | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:59:06

It's a wide-ranging discussion today, and there's a subtheme that runs through all of it. Basically, it is the idea that no matter what we go through, we end up stronger in the end. Good stuff! Bridget D. will be back next week.

Procrastination and Persistence | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:00:00

Louis wasn't able to join us today, so Anne-Marie and Walt carried on the conversation. We started by talking about the interview we did 10 days ago with Kelly Coulter, in which Anne-Marie let us know about her desire to develop some kind of career or regular activity writing poetry. With that as a framework, we explored the many ways we block ourselves from pursuing our own dreams. By the end of the conversation, Anne-Marie asks Walt about the blocks he experienced when starting the podcast, and we conclude that we've both been through some amazing growth over the years. We also agree that when someone offers us a compliment or offers to buy us lunch or whatever that we're better off accepting it with a "thank you" than in deflecting it!

The Real You | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:05:13

Walt and Debbie G. compared notes about their respective Thanksgivings, and Neo drops in halfway through to talk about the amazing things that happen when he does his summits. A livestream listener asks us about a Gary V quote. Neo's daily quotes:  https://www.neopositivity.com/subscribe

 Happy Thanksgiving! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:59:58

Jacqui tells the story of her family's first Thanksgiving in the U.S. in 1998 when they had just arrived, knew nobody, and missed their friends and family back in South Africa. We then talk a lot about people who miss feeling connected during the holidays and include some ideas about how to have a better experience for Thanksgiving.

 A Rampage of Transgressor Appreciation | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:00:45

We have done rampages of appreciation on the show before, but this time we added a TYA twist to them. TYA teaches us to learn to appreciate our transgressors,  those things and people and events in our lives that we might usually think of as negatives. Source sees everything appreciatively, so one of the advanced concepts you try to take on board when you're in TYA Boot Camp is appreciation of transgressors. So today we got ourselves into a high-vibe state with some regular appreciations, and then we bridged over to transgressor appreciations. And as Jeanine observed, we can feel every one of you benefitting from the exercise as you listen to this episode!

Maria Elizabeth van Niekerk Meets Louis de Souza | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:02:14

Maria visits us again this week, and this time Louis is able to join us for the show. They start off with a brief conversation in Afrikaans that neither Walt nor Anne-Marie understand a word of, but it doesn't matter because it's all too funny. Then they compare notes on growing up in South Africa. Walt thought it might turn into a conversation about their respective health issues, but they just formed the backdrop for a conversation about what it's like to live through hard times and come out the other side. Not to mention the perils of taking money out of an ATM. You can reach Maria at makepassivemoneynow@gmail.com.

 A Visit With Josie Herndon | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:59:59

Josie is Debbie G.'s best friend in the world, and it's not hard to see why. Their energies match each other perfectly! We get to know Josie and the work she has done. We also get to hear her channel the Angel Gabriel, and it's quite the experience! Josie's website:  https://josieherndon.com/ Also, Neo Positivity's summit is tomorrow! Here's the link: https://www.neosloasummit.com/

What Does It Take To Grow a Facebook Group? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:00:43

Continuing the theme of the past few days, what does it take to start a Facebook group on any topic and grow it until you can monetize it? Alyx and Walt talk about this for the first half of the show. Then Dan shows up and turns some of the concepts on their ear. We also have an interesting interaction with a livestream listener. At first we thought he might be hoaxing us, but near the end of the show we discover that his questions were serious and earnest.

Correlating Social Connections With Success | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:59:52

Jacqui, Cindie, and Walt discuss a fascinating statistic from positive psychologist Shawn Achor. Shawn conducted a study while at Harvard University attempting to discover what the secret to success is. He took surveys from 1,000 students, approximately 1/6 of the entire student body at the time. To his shock and dismay, his study couldn't find hardly any correlations at all. Study habits, parents, subject matter, hours of study, etc. proved to not be predictive at all of success, both while they were at school and after they left school. However, he did find one correlation, and it blew his mind because it came from a question he just kind of threw onto the survey as an after thought. Yet it ended up defining his entire set of results. The question had to do with their social connectedness, and it turned out that there was a 70% correlation, meaning that using a social connectedness score to predict a student's success was 70% accurate. That's an extraordinarily high percentage. By comparison, the correlation between smoking cigarettes and getting cancer is 45%. This amazing statistic becomes the basis for a really interesting conversation.

Manifestation and Vibration Stories | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:59:56

Jeanine couldn't join us today, but Bridget and Walt had plenty to talk about. Jeanine will be back next week. Walt told a manifestation story that involved repeatedly manifesting scams to be busted coming into his life within minutes of each other after doing a show yesterday that talked about scams. Bridget told how Friday's episode with Debbie G. inspired her to put post-it notes around her house to remind herself to appreciate instead of complaining.
