 YOU CAN'T RUIN YOUR LIFE! - Moses - Exodus 2 - Pastor Jason Fritz | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 39:39

Sometimes we make bad decisions and think "My life is ruined!" If we look at the life of Moses in Exodus 2 we see that you can't ruin your life. Moses was raised in privilege being adopted by Pharaoh's daughter, yet knowing his Hebrew roots and seeing the injustice they were receiving by the Egyptians he sinned in his anger, murdering an Egyptian slave master. Moses had to flee Egypt in fear of being killed. He spent 40 years in the desert where God prepared him for what He had planned for Moses, delivering the Nation of Israel from Egypt. Pastor Jason Fritz explains.

 "Joseph: Reconciliation" - Genesis 50:15-21 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 33:06

We wrap up our study of Joseph, and find an incredible process of grace and forgiveness that Joseph demonstrates to his brothers, who have wronged him in many ways.  Yet, through Joseph's wisdom and realization that what man has intended as wrong, God has worked on to make right.  Even though Joseph was betrayed by his brothers, those heinous acts turned out to lead him into amazing outcomes.  We learn here that reconciliation is a necessary practice, especially when we realize and trust that through every act, through every seemingly minor event, we have a loving God working underneath the surface to create an amazing story in our lives that transcend any peril or hardship we come across.  We must endure.  And we must forgive those who wrong us, knowing that it's absolutely part of the process of a greater story still yet to happen.

 "Joseph - Broken and Repaired" - Genesis 42:1-9; 45:1-12 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 32:20

There is a quote from Craig D. Lounsbrough. He said, "God is able to fix that which is broken so that what stands repaired is immeasurably greater than that which stood before it needed repair. Therefore, the most staggering brokenness conceivable is in reality the greatest opportunity imaginable." Here, in our continuation of our study of Joseph, we notice three key principles: - What feels like weakening is really strengthening. - Suffering often reveals your idols. - God has a dream for your future to use you in other people's lives. Listen in as Pastor Jason Fritz explains.

 Sex and Influence - Joseph pt 2 - Genesis 39 | Pastor Jason Fritz | Heroes | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 25:43

Your influence is intended for the Kingdom. As Christians we should not be using our leadership positions as a way to show off ourselves but to show others how great a God we serve. Pastor Jason Fritz talks about sex and its intended purpose as we continue the "Heroes" series in our second week on Joseph. The Bible passage comes from Genesis 39

There are times when we have to walk in obedience to the light that God has given us before He sheds more light on our path. In this week's study of Joseph, Pastor Jason Fritz highlights some important lessons we can glean from this very important figure. - God's wise redeeming love is completely compatible with the terrible things happening to you. - In God's apparent silence, He is still very active. - The cross is proof that God is capable of taking the biggest tragedies and turning them into the greatest glories.

 "Jacob - Wrestling With God" - Genesis 32:22-32 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 27:33

This week, with our sixth installment in the "Heroes" series, we continue with the story of Jacob. Again, we see that Jacob is visited by God in his loneliness. Moreover, God visits Jacob in his weakness. This is a picture of how God works in our lives as well; sometimes God actually brings us into a place of weakness so that He can then grow us. Here's something even more profound: God became weak so that you - we - could win. Pastor Jason Fritz explains more in depth.

Abraham, Isaac, and the God Who Provides - Genesis 22:1-14 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 33:48

There's a quote from one of the most influential Christian women of the 20th century, Elisabeth Elliot. She said of the story of Abraham and Isaac, "If this story of Abraham tells us anything it tells you that sometimes your shepherd, who is trying to save you, will feel to you like he is trying to kill you." With that said, Pastor Jason Fritz looks to drive some points through this text: God will call you to something outside of what you want. Where God guides, He provides. And Isaac points the way to the Gospel of Jesus.

 "Sarah - Too Wonderful!" - Genesis 18:1-15 - Pastor Jason Fritz | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 32:52

G.K. Chesterton said, "It may be that God has the eternal appetite of infancy; for we have sinned and grown old, and our Father is younger than we." As Pastor Jason Fritz shows from the story of Sarah, the wonder of God is present in so many more ways than we tend to recognize. Open up your heart as some of these ways are shown.

 "Sarah and Hagar - God Sees" - Genesis 16 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 33:37

El Roi - translated the God who sees. Theologians refer to this as omniscience. The state of knowing everything. Perhaps this is, above all others, God's attribute that brings calm to our lives. God doesn't need human efforts to fulfill his divine promises. Identity influences security. God is attentive to the broken and hurting. Listen in as Pastor Jason Fritz explains these truths which the scripture points to.
