Summary: This weekly podcast will be hosted by Torie Clarke with co-hosts David Aldridge, Jeanne McManus and Michael Kornheiser. Each week, they'll have entertaining interviews with authors, plus lively discussions about what they are reading, what they love and what they hate! This show will be many things, but boring won't be one of them!

On today's episode, Torie gives an update on her book report on "Invisible Man", and then the gang discuss whether it's ever ok to ban a book. Then they welcome in their authors : Andrea Flores, Kalisha Dessources Figures, Nita Contreras, and Taylor Lustig, who contributed to "Yes She Can : 10 Stories of Hope and Change from Young Female Staffers of the Obama White House"
On today's episode, Torie gives an update on which book she'll be doing her report on, and the gang discuss the concept of the Great American Novel, and whether that can still be written today. Then they welcome in their author - Chuck Culpepper of the Washington Post - to talk about his book "Bloody Confused : A Clueless American Sportswriter Seeks Solace in English Soccer", and they close things out by talking about their favorite Shakespeare play!
On today's episode, the gang discusses the sad news of the day with the fire at Notre Dame in Paris. They also talk about using books as fashion accessories (seriously). Then they welcome in their author of the week : Julie Langsdorf and they talk to her about her new novel "White Elephant". And they close out by talking about their favorite book series.
On today's episode, David is back in studio and he gives Torie a choice of three books for her upcoming book report. Then , in honor of April being National Poetry Month, everyone recites some lines form their favorite poems. After that, they welcome in their guest author - Allan Topol, who talks about how he balances being a lawyer with also being a writer and his his creative process. And they close out by talking about whether it's ok to give up on a book that you aren't enjoying!
On today's show, Marc makes an announcement about a book deal he just signed, Torie talks about a new feature coming up on the show "The Battle of the Books", and they talk about books that should be made into a movie. Then they welcome their author in - Kyle Swenson - and they discuss his brilliant book "Good Kids, Bad City : A Story of Race and Wrongful Conviction in America", and they close things out with some book recommendations about con jobs and heists!
On today's episode, David gives his book report on "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's nest" (and knocks it out of the park!) After that, they welcome in their guest author - Jane Leavy - and her latest book "The Big Fella : babe Ruth and the world he created". And they close things out by talking about the books on their nightstand that they haven't gotten around to reading just yet (you know you have one too!!)
