#11 217 Country Interview with WFMB 1045

You'll hear about me starting a new band after moving back from Ottawa, IL and Thornberry Court coming to and end. At the end of the episode you can hear the full song by my band Abistarline called "Gods and Nature" which was actually recorded inside the old YMCA building in Roodhouse, IL which is no longer there, but was where we put on a TON of shows back then!

Back when I moved to Ottawa, IL and started Thornberry Court with Wes, Duane, and my cousin Josh!

Today 9/9/18 I played a music festival like concert for develomently disabled adults and it was one of the most amazing things ever. The crowd was so great and after my set was the best part! I got to meet so many wonderful souls and it reminded me of why I wrote this song "Hungry" a few weeks ago. To look for the good in the world and love everyone you meet. You will get it in return folks. I got a truckload of it today and I'm still flying so high from it that I decided to change up the podcast and release this instead of the Thornberry Court part of the story. No worries though, next week we will be talking all things Thornberry Court!

A song I wrote a few weeks ago and was feeling inspired from hearing back a lot of the old Midwest Avenue stuff.

For a breif time during my senior year in high school as well as that following Summer/Fall I was in my first Rock band The Big City with some guys  from my school and it was an absolute blast. Hear how it came together and songs from our album we recorded in this episode.

During my high school years my cousin Josh and I kept writing songs. We ended up starting a band with our Dads which was a blast! Hear some of the songs from our EP we recorded together  and how it all came together.

I wrote this song after a trip to Indianapolis, IN when dealing with the time change the song idea hit me and here you will hear the product of that.  

Travel down memory lane with me as I think back to the very first time I was around music and hated it! Then how I became interested and when I first had a live micorphone in my hand to playing shows at the local nursing home in my hometown! Also the times I called and bugged the late night radio DJ on the weekends!
