John Lennon Was Assassinated 35 Years Ago Today John Lennon was the greatest singer songwriter and the most influential political artist of the 20th century. He was assassinated on Monday, December 8, 1980. I am writing a new article this is filled with questions (to get people to think) about his assassination. John Lennon, December 8, 1980 In mid November of 1980, I told all my close friends John Lennon was about to be assassinated. I said the powers that be were going to blame a lone deranged crazy fan, and that this person would never have a trial. I don't know how I knew all of this. I was driving my taxi in Manhattan on that beautifully warm evening of December 8, 1980. I was listening to Vin Scelsa on WNEW 102.7 FM, when just before 11 pm he announced that John Lennon had been shot, and then a few minutes later, crying, he announced the death of John Lennon. When this horrible news broke, I was with a passenger in my taxi. I drove her home and immediately went to the Dakota. I stayed there for the next nine hours. These nine hours changed my life. I swore on John Lennon's blood that I would do everything I possibly could to enlighten humanity and make our world better for future generations. ...And everyday for the last thirty-five years, I have been doing this. DR Fred Whitehurst : FBI Whistleblower, OKC, TWA 800, OJ, Waco....more Dr. Frederic Whitehurst, an F.B.I. agent who served as a Supervisor at the FBI crime lab from 1986 to 1998, blew the whistle on irregularities at the lab. Whitehurst received his Ph.D. in chemistry from Duke University and his law degree from Georgetown University before joining the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 1982 The F.B.I. considered Whitehurst the world's top expert in the forensic science of explosives and explosives residue. While at the Lab, he investigated, uncovered and reported misconduct which forced the F.B.I. crime lab to agree to major reforms. For his crusade against corruption in the Lab, Whitehurst was forced to defend himself from retaliation by the Bureau. He was defended by David K. Colapinto of Kohn, Kohn & Colapinto, a Washington, D.C. law firm specializing in defending whistle-blowers. The FBI settled his whistle-blower case for over $300,000. Fred Whitehurst's revelations of F.B.I. misconduct have affected the course of many prominent cases, including the Waco Siege (he is featured in the 1999 documentary film Waco: A New Revelation (1999)) and the O.J. Simpson murder trial. He practices criminal law in the state of North Carolina.

Dr. Elliot Shin immigrated with his family from South Korea to United States at age eleven without knowing any English, even the alphabet. Since then, he has been blessed with many opportunities and experiences that have uniquely allowed him to understand the challenges that disadvantaged populations face and have been involved in providing comprehensive solutions to empower them. After graduating from Rutgers University as a Henry Rutgers Scholar in 1991, he obtained a master’s degree in Nuclear Physics at Rosalind Franklin University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School where he also received his medical degree in 2000. Then he completed his residency training in 2003 at In His Image Family Practice Residency Program where he was also ordained as a medical missionary. His work with the disadvantaged population originally started during college years after a powerful encounter with a homeless lady who gave him a kiss on the cheek as a gratitude for a sandwich he gave her. Over the years, the homeless people became his friends and family who prayed and supported him through the rigorous medical training. He is now simply returning the favor to not only the homeless but to other populations in similar situations. After two decades of his mission work in inner-cities and overseas, he founded Operation H.O.P.E., Inc. (Helping Other People Everywhere) in October of 2009 to invite the public to join with him in providing comprehensive solutions to these populations such as the homeless, orphans/foster children, inner-city youth, seniors, prostitutes, prisoners, poor and suppressed people worldwide. Operation H.O.P.E. provides innovative programs to equip, transform, and empower these individuals to become leaders in their own family and community. Since its opening in February of 2010, with generous support and partnership of City Impact Center, HOPE Medical and Dental Clinic, a subsidiary of Operation H.O.P.E., Inc., has seen over thousand uninsured low-income patients rendering $200,000 worth of service with only part-time hours with caring volunteer staff. It has quickly grown to three clinics in Las Vegas area with fourth clinic soon to open housing three dental operatories and two specialty clinic rooms. One of the distinguishing feature of the clinic includes “pay-it-forward” program where patients are required to return the favor by helping others in need with acts of kindness at least three times. Then they are supposed to ask the recipients of their service to do the same so that the selfless acts of kindness continues in the community exponentially. This program is intended to remove patients from self-entitlement mentality, restore dignity, exercise their own gifts and talents, and promote sense of community. What separates us from other clinics are two things: 1) pay-it-forward program where our patients are required to return the favor with three acts of kindness. This has been a life-changing opportunity for our patients and those they help. 2) after prayer, unbelievable miraculous healing that have been on-going continuously in the last six years including cancers, diabetes, kidney failures, thyroid cures, lupus cure, stroke paralysis, broken shoulder, sciatica, chronic ulcers.. the list is exhaustive. I have blood work, before and after pictures, MRI's, other specialists verifying these miracles.

ILYASAH AL SHABAZZ – Third daughter of Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz, is an educator, social activist, motivational speaker, and author of award winning publications: (1) Growing Up X (Random House) a coming of age memoir; (2) Malcolm Little (Simon & Schuster), a children’s illustration book and (3) X, A Novel (Candlewick Press) a young adult historical fiction. Ilyasah promotes higher education for at-risk youth, interfaith dialogue to build bridges between cultures for young leaders of the world, and she participates on international humanitarian delegations.
