Director, Emma Couling, actors, Brian Elliot and Jonathan Wilson and festival curator, Laura Stratford showed just how much spunk Chicago musicals have by shining a light on what they’re bringing to the stage. They all talked about festival preparations and sang a tune to provide a preview of one of the shows, American Smoothie.

Tony Nessie, or better known as “Hot Tub Tony”, brought all his outdoor knowledge and shared some tool talk for this week’s FoodTime. Tony and Dean discussed various pieces of equipment for all types of grilling. Ring Of Fire: The Music Of Johnny Cash is the personalized story of Johnny and his life through music. Kent Lewis, Michael Monroe Goodman and Cory Goodrich (the main characters of Ring Of Fire) stopped by the studio to talk about the production, Johnny Cash’s hits, and they play a couple of songs.    

Dave Eanet, one of the WGN greats provided Blackhawks analysis with Dean the morning after Chicago won the Western Conference Finals talking about the series as a whole and what to expect against the Tampa Bay Lightning for the Stanley Cup Finals.    

Chef Dean Eliacostas is part of Real Urban Barbecue at 610 Central Ave in Highland Park and is proud to announce the inaugural Kicking Ash Summer Grilling Series in Highland Park’s Port Clinton Square. Chef Eliacosta took the time to talk with Dean about grilling tips and the upcoming event.
