It is your job as a speaker or webinar host to set expectations ahead of time and start a relationship with your audience as early as possible. This sets you apart as an outlier by building engagement and ensures that clients will want to book you over and over again.
What are you spending your time and energy on? Think about dedicating it to the things you can have an influence and impact on.
Instead of engaging in relationships without evening thinking about it, I challenge you to create a filter for your relationships. What are those filters or what do you want them to be?
I believe the world is a pretty amazing place and people are awesome. But that's not at all what you see in the media and on the news. You control your outlook.
Here's a secret weapon for your business: generosity.
If you're going to be a successful cyclist, you have to plan that you're going to fail. I think the same is true for entrepreneurs.
If you want to be someone who stands out from the rest, do something different. Can it be as simple as showing up early?
If you believe you're lucky or unlucky, then that's what you will be. What is your brain looking for?
