The Sports Hub Hockey Show

On the second hour of the show, the guys analyze some areas of improvement that the Bruins can target at the upcoming trade deadline. Also, callers chime in with some Bruins who could possibly be on the trade block. Plus, the Executive Director of the Boston Bruins Foundation Bob Sweeney joined the show to provide information on how on people can help donate to the Quetta family during their difficult time. Also, Billy Jaffe joined the show to go around the NHL and touch on how the league is handling covid protocols so far.

On the first hour of the Sports Hub Hockey Show, Ryan Johnston, Judd Sirott and Bob Beers recap Friday night's 2-1 victory over the Flyers, and also touch on the team's recent exciting trend of comeback wins. However, some callers voice their concern, as they'd rather see the team play with a lead than play from behind. Also, Ty Anderson joined the guys to give his thoughts on the hockey team's recent play, as well as what lines are working well.

On the second hour the show, the guys discuss how the fourth line, as well as the overall defense, has been a pleasant surprise thus far.  Also, Ty Anderson and Billy Jaffe provide their insight on the Bruins' play over the past week and go around the latest in the NHL.

Also, the guys review how the NHL season is doing so far under their covid protocols. 

Hockey is officially back and the Bruins got their season started off on the right foot with an OT victory over the Devils on Thursday night. Ryan Johnston, Bob Beers and Judd Sirott recap Thursday's game (0:00) and provide their season expectations of this Bruins group (15:00). Ty Anderson (27:00) and Billy Jaffe (1:09:00) also join the show to provide their insight and comment on the impact of the losses of Torey Krug and Zdeno Chara this offseason. 

In the season finale of the Sports Hub Hockey Show, the guys start by talking about the biggest reasons why the Bruins lost. They also discuss some scenarios for next year; will Krejci and Chara return? Who is in the next wave coming up, and how the team could look next season. In the second hour Billy Jaffe joins the show to offer his analysis of the season, he gives his assessment when asked what he might do if he was Don Sweeney, and they conclude by taking a look around the league at the remaining games.  Also, what can we expect for next season? Also, former Bruins' goaltender and current NESN analyst Andrew Raycroft joined the show to discuss Jaroslav Halak's performance thus far in place of Tuukka Rask and gives his scouting report of Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy. Plus, Billy Jaffe goes around the NHL playoffs and gives his thoughts on the Bruins vs. Lightning.
