First week of the finals are here and all things AFL are under the microscope. This week Sam, Mike and Thomo look into the border intervention involving Gillion McLachlan, Mad Monday controversy, public violence in Collingwood, London’s move against body shaming, Asia Argento sexual harassment allegations, Richo’s future and the future of the St Kilda football club.

SMT are definitely not low on ammo this week - hold onto your hats. This week Sam, Mike and Thomo look at the upcoming finals, AFL rule changes and the media, Brendan Goddard’s split, Sam Murray’s drug investigation, the strange dance that went down in Canberra and Sam responds to recent criticisms. Its coming to the tail end of the AFL season but that doesn’t mean Sam, Mike and Thomo have run out of things to say. This train just keeps on rollin’ This week; Fremantle’s poor season continued, Buddy Franklin, Bachar Houli and Adam Saad’s meaningful embrace, Turnbull’s dying leadership and Devon Smith’s near miss.

This week the team tackle tragic incidents involving cyclists in New York and Melbourne, daily occurrences of violence in North and South America, Politics filtering into Sport and recent golf results. Gaff and Bradshaw are two names that are on everybody’s lips at the moment. Sam Mike and Thomo offer their views on the recent incident and deep dive in to the repercussions it has on the players and the game.
