On this episode, we review the pathophysiology and pharmacotherapy of atopic dermatitis. We discuss different moisturizers and cleansers that patients can use to keep their skin healthy. We describe common topical corticosteroids used in atopic dermatitis as well as their potencies. We also go over some of the newer medications like crisaborole (Eucrisa) and dupilumab (Dupixent).
