Another week, and we got another Survivor classic blindside! This week, Michael made our list of castaways we had previously under estimated. His plan for the HII was truly inspired. Turns out Chelsea's not purple after all. We finally got to see a little of her game this episode, and it looks like she might be a player. We're excited to see what happens next!

The early game shuffle caused a lot of unintended confusion this week. The other recurring theme in the feedback is that Ghost Island appears to have started with a bit of whimper. Given that the castaways are required to break the "urns" in a specific order, we are puzzled why production chose to start with an advantage you have to give away and two instances of "no soup for you". The blindside really helped redeem the overall assessment of the episode, and we're ready for the next one.

Woohoo! Survivor is kicking off the second week of season 36 with a tribal shuffle and another blindside! Add Libby to the list of castaways we initially underestimated. Beware cute blonds indeed! What did you think of the re-shuffled tribes? Would you count that blindside as another victim of the Legacy Advantage curse?

It's time to get the super fans perspective on the premiere of season 36. Fiji is as beautiful as always and fans are loving the mix of critters in the show this season as well as the younger skewed cast of mostly fans. We're stoked to have Survivor back and we love getting two hours to kick off the season. We can't wait for Wednesday night when we get the next installment of Ghost Island!

It's time again to share our final impressions and thoughts on season 35, Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. The finale got mixed reviews. From one perspective, Ben, a fan favorite and hard worker was rewarded. The other camp feels that Chrissy was robbed by fickle twist. The overall season got a positive review. All in all though, we once again had fun together and found lots to enjoy and discuss each week. We will be on hiatus until late February when we return for the season 36 JABBIC.

We have now been blessed with seventeen years and thirty five seasons of this wonderful show, and this one was a delight from start to finish. This season contained awesome lessons on the power of secrets, hard work, and perseverance. We delighted in all the triumphs and tribulations and were happy that it kept us guessing all the way to the end when the final votes were read.
